Greg and I just spent the week in Knoxville, Iowa for the 2008 Knoxville Nationals of 410 sprint car racing.  We had a blast talking with all of the drivers, crews and fans.

Congratulations go out to Donny Schatz for winning his 3rd consecutive Nationals.  The weather was great this year and allowed for exciting racing every night.  Greg even picked up some discarded sprint car parts for his garage collection.

I also need to give a big thanks to Stew Hansen Dodge of Des Moines for getting our tow rig back in action after some suspension trouble on the drive in.  Also for the not-so-sweet rental car we got!  If you find yourself in the Des Moines area do yourself a favor and check out Cheddar’s restaurant, great food!

Look who Pit Pal Pete got to hang out with…. sprint car legend Jac Haudenschild!
